Experience Studio

A companion to the platform as a whole, the Studio provides the tools to bring rich content directly to your customers.

Mobile Experiences designed in the Studio are built from several Components and Wrappers that can be added, removed, duplicated, and reordered to your liking. For a list of Components, Wrappers, and their functionality, see our Components section.

Logging In

To log in, click on STUDIO in the navigation bar or simply bookmark this link: Use the same e-mail address and password used for the Dashboard.

There is no limit to the number of Experiences created within the Studio. Each new configuration is called a Studio File and each will have its own Name, Description, and ID.

Once a Studio File is created and configured, the next step is to assign it to an mTAG Object. To do so follow these simple steps:

  1. Navigate to the mTAG Object Edit page
  2. Choose the Studio File from the dropdown labeled Experience

You can quickly find Studio Files by entering either the Name or the ID into the search field in the Studio.

Configuring a Studio File

Settings for the whole Studio File are configured through the "Experience" panel on the lower left.

We've integrated with Google Analytics to provide a free and easy way to track interactions within Experiences. With our GA integration, users can track actions, down to the Object level, to Image, Button, Verified, and Action Components.  Data such as time on page, sessions, avg. session duration, avg. page views, etc. can also be tracked.

Component Style

  • Default configuration will have a colored border around each Component
  • A configuration of None will remove all borders

Background Color & Image

Customize the Experience background with either an image or specific color. Click on Select Image in order to choose an image directly from your computer, or use Hex Color Codes to choose the perfect color to match your Experience look and feel.

For additional information on Hex Color Codes, click here

Component Style

If Component Style is set to None, the background won't show up unless the Experience doesn't fill the entire phone screen.

Static and Dynamic

Apart from global settings, some Components will have their own set of configurations which fall into two categories: Static and Dynamic.

  • Static configurations will be constant any time a particular Experience is rendered, the inputs are set within the Component's options
  • Dynamic configurations inherit inputs from the associated mTAG Objects set in the Dashboard. These configurations will pull in dynamic content depending on the associated mTAG Object

If a mTAG Object is improperly configured or if there is no Studio File associated with it, it will display a fallback Experience.

All static text & URL inputs for all components are compatible with macros.

Easily duplicate entire Experiences, individual Components and Wrappers, and nested Components and Wrappers.

Dynamic components such as Weather, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and all Campaigns can only exist once in per studio file. For this reason they cannot be duplicated.

Drag and Drop

Most Components, Campaigns, and Wrappers can be moved around as needed and can be nested within Wrappers simply by dragging and dropping them into the desired location. Click and hold on any part of the Component – other than the Duplicate and Remove buttons – and drag it to the appropriate location. Not all Palette pieces will fit together, and the Studio will move the piece back to its original location if it doesn't fit accordingly.
